Coos Bay Police Report, Jan. 4

UEMVs
Reports of Unauthorized Entry Motor Vehicle (UEMV) on the Coos Bay Police logs for Wednesday, Jan. 2.  At 11:34 a.m., 600 block Newmark Ave., Star of Hope, "Unlawful Entry Motor Vehicle."  At 11:19 a.m., 700 block Elrod Ave., 45-year old female reported "Unlawful Entry into Vehicle."  On the North Bend Police log for early Thursday morning, Jan. 3, 4:18 a.m., 2100 block Marion Ave., "RP reported someone set off alarm on her vehicle approximately 10 minutes ago.  Son saw a man run away, believes possibly trying to break into her vehicle."  

Probation Violation
A report of a non-injury motor vehicle accident on Lakeshore Dr. and the Coos Bay City Limits Wednesday, Jan. 2, led to an arrest.  According to an entry on the police log for 9:43 a.m., 38-year old Dianne Martinez was charged with DWS Misdemeanor and Probation Violation.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Gun left in vehicle
According to an entry on the Coos Bay Police log for Wednesday, Jan. 2, 8:18 a.m., 47-year old male complained "RP left gun in a traded vehicle.  New owner was going to return gun to Coos Bay."

Icy roads
Entries on the Coos Bay Police log regarding slick-icy roads early Wednesday morning, Jan. 2.  At 5:36 a.m., Ocean Blvd. near West Hills Blvd., 56-year old male reportedly "hit a patch of ice, then the guardrail."  At 5:24 a.m., Ocean Blvd. & Woodland Dr., "motorist spun out on black ice at location."
